Position: IT Solutions Architect
Responsibilities:
- Define, design, and implement cutting-edge IT solutions leveraging Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint to improve efficiency and minimize human error through automation deployment and support tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization’s overall strategy.
- Ensure that technical solutions and procedures comply with established standards and best practices.
- Lead and actively participate in the operation, maintenance, and support of systems within the assigned area, with a specific focus on Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint technologies.
- Define, develop, configure, and support IT technical applications utilizing Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint tools to meet business needs.
- Oversee the implementation and support of applications, ensuring their stability, scalability, and performance within the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint environment.
- Identify hardware, network, and infrastructural requirements for Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint deployments and recommend relevant specifications for procurement.
- Lead the technical procurement process for Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint solutions, including vendor evaluation and selection.
- Stay updated with the latest technological and IT security trends and applications, evaluating their potential for enhancing the organization’s Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint infrastructure.
- Act as a liaison with external IT partners, consultants, and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project delivery in the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint ecosystem.
- Participate in external technical forums and conferences related to Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint to stay abreast of industry developments and contribute to the Group’s IT architecture.
- Work closely with management to prioritise Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint projects and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct business analysis to ensure Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint resources are aligned with business needs and identify areas for automation and process improvement.
- Assist in resolving major and critical support issues within the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint environment, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Oversee Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint systems architecture and design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Monitor IT policy enforcement within the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint environment, reviewing and updating policies as required.
- Promote and audit quality standards specific to Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint implementations to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Solutions Architect, designing and implementing technical solutions within the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint products, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, SharePoint Online, and automation deployment and support tools.
- Excellent understanding of IT architecture principles, standards, and best practices within the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint environment.
- Solid knowledge of business practices and project management fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong attention to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, set performance standards, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions within the Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint landscape.
